Relatively new on the market, Joe White Light Crystal is the closest thing in Australia to the relatively common specification of 40o Lovibond crystal malts used widely in recipes around the world.
With an average of wort colour of 100 EBC (38.1o L or 58 SRM)
Ideal as a 1-2% addition to west coast American IPAs or as a dextrine donor in light golden colour beers where subtle crystal malt character is required. This grain can be steeped for use with extract or kit brews.
