The Mini Keg Caps Upgrade Version with Pressure Release and Welded PRV Base is the perfect solution for naturally carbonating your beer in the keg without worrying about over-priming. These caps can replace the original mini keg caps and are compatible with all of our mini kegs. These caps feature a pressure release valve (PRV) that is designed based on the Cornelius keg design. The PRV comes in two different colors, red and green, which release at different pressures. The red PRV is designed to release pressure at around 35 psi (2.5 Bar), which is suitable for most carbonation needs. However, if you require a higher pressure release valve, the green PRV can be purchased separately and releases at around 70 psi (5 Bar). The caps have an M35x1.5 thread, with a thread T/D size of 33.5 and a pitch of 1.5. This means they can fit perfectly onto your mini keg, providing a secure seal to keep your beer fresh and carbonated. What sets these caps apart from other Mini Keg Caps is the Welded PRV Base. The PRV Base is welded to the cap, ensuring a smooth and leak-proof seal. This design is perfect for those who are using the caps to store food and drink items.
