| Home Brew Heating Belt Pad with Temperature Controller. This easy-to-use heat pad with a temperature controller is designed to keep your brew warm at a pre-set desired temperature for consistent fermentation at a low cost, as the heat pat is only 25 watt. The PVC surface is waterproof (but the pad is not suitable to use in liquid). An internal temperature safety will shut off the power if the heat pad's surface temperature is above 70 (+/- 5) ℃. The diameter of the heat pad is 30cm (12'') and it is suitable for glass and plastic fermenters, carboys, and buckets. It is easy to clean by wiping off and easy to store. Improve the quality of your beer and wine while reducing fermentation time with this electric heating pad. It is perfect to use if you need to keep your brew in a spare room, garage, or cellar where the temperature is lower than the ideal for brewing. The temperature controller is connected with an NTC temperature probe, which can be fixed on the fermenter by a rubber holder and a band (included in the package). The temperature controller ensures the desired temperature is maintained. The temperature range that can be set by the controller is 0 to 42 ℃. There are two fire-resistant cotton sheets beneath the PVC cover. The heating wire is double insulated for safety. Safety Warning: Make sure there is no sharp object under or above the heat pad, which may damage the pad. DO NOT use the pad if there is any damage on the PVC surface. DO NOT immerse in liquid. Improper use may cause fire or electric shock. Please note: The heat pad can raise the temperature by 3-11℃ above the ambient temperature due to its low wattage. Therefore if the ambient temperature is too far below the desired temperature, it may be hard to reach the desired temperature. You may need to use some insulated covers for the fermenter body to keep the wort warm during the winter times when the ambient temperature is quite low. |
